Home office, digital teaching and the closure of many colleges and universities to the public have caused many research projects to be delayed. For this reason, the FGF extends the deadline for your submissions to the G-Forum 2020 (September 30 to October 2, 2020, conference president Prof. Dr. Orestis Terzidis, KIT Karlsruhe) until June 7, 2020 (Call for Papers).

At the same time, many colleagues questioned us how the FGF intends to deal with the upheavals caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In an extraordinary meeting, the FGF’s Presidium decided that in view of several imponderables it is not possible to plan sensibly for a physical conference. Nevertheless, it is important to keep up the exchange within the community. In 2020 the G-Forum will therefore virtualize itself. The organizing team is working hard to create such a digital conference.

You can continue to submit your proposals through the submission system until 7 June 2020. Of course, authors who have already submitted their papers can also update them until this date. The review process is expected to be completed by the end of July / beginning of August 2020.

Further details including the possibility to register for the conference can be found on the conference homepage.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

We are looking forward to your proposals and your participation in the G-Forum 2020!
