The FGF promotes research in relation to Entrepreneurship, Innovation and German Mittelstand. Supporting the next generation of scholars is also a key priority for the FGF.
The FGF would like to thank the current partners for their support of various Best Research Paper Awards at the G-Forum:

The Karl Schlecht Stiftung (KSG) is a non-profit foundation focused on “good leadership.” Its guiding principle is to improve leadership in business and society through humanistic values. Against this backdrop, it supports projects for the personal development of young people and aspiring leaders in the areas of ethics, leadership, entrepreneurship, culture, and technology.
The Karl Schlecht Stiftung, based in Aichtal with offices in Berlin and Munich, was founded in 1998 by Dipl.-Ing. Karl Schlecht. The founder, who passed away in August 2024, was the founder of the concrete pump manufacturer Putzmeister.

Founded in 2020, the Stiftung für die Wissenschaft is a nationwide, non-profit funding organization that supports research and teaching in the fields of economics, law, social sciences, and the history of savings banks.
It also maintains a large scientific network comprising various universities, non-university research institutions, and scientific societies.

For over 20 years, EQUA has been promoting research on family businesses and serving as a point of contact. Its financial and content-related support has resulted in courses being offered at various universities and a wide range of research projects.

Szyperski Stiftung
In memory and honor of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Norbert Szyperski, founding father of the FGF, who passed away in May 2016, the FGF e.V., with the support of the Szyperski Stiftung, is presenting the “Norbert Szyperski Technology and Innovation Management Research Award.”
